Victor is first a proud husband to Sarah and father to Alex & Jocelyn. Victor is the Regional Director, Sales, for Scotiabank, Home Financing Solutions, responsible for leading teams focused on new customer acquisition and mortgage growth in GTA and Western Ontario. He has over 27 years of experience in the Financial industry, focused on leadership, business development and process improvements. He has been described by his co-workers as an influential role model and motivator and has been recognized with several Leadership & Community awards throughout his career. In 2015, Victor was selected as one of only 250 leaders to attend the Canadian Governor Generals Leadership Conference designed to promote a more progressive era of interaction between leaders from business, labour, government and the broader community. Community has always mattered to Victor and his family…this was highlighted in a feature article in KW’s Grand Magazine. Victor is currently a Director and Chair of Fund Development for Habitat for Humanity of Waterloo Region and was a founding Director of Kawasaki Disease Canada which recently achieved charitable status in Canada. Kawasaki Disease is the leading cause of acquired heart disease in children. Previously, he was both Board Chair and Campaign Chair for the United Way of Kitchener, Waterloo and Area.
