Holly recently began her career at Sun Life Financial as a Project Analyst in Waterloo. In 2015 she completed Conestoga College’s Business and Project Management Programs, graduating from both with high distinction. Holly was the recipient of multiple program awards, as well as the prestigious James W. Church Award. Prior to this, Holly worked for Solowave Design as a purchaser and quality coordinator.
Holly is a pleasure to be around and is always rallying people to support good causes. She stands up for people who need a voice and believes in always doing the right thing. After her husband was tragically killed in 2011, Holly felt the need to lead by example and be visible in the community. Holly finds it important to get out and connect with others to share her story and try to help in any way she can. She is often told that she has the unique ability to make people feel comfortable, and has a great sense of humor that often lightens the mood in tough situations.
Holly has been a part of dozens of commemorative efforts including a memorial, two defibrillator donations, tree plantings, as well as co-chairing a yearly pool tournament with the local CPA billiards chapter. With the help of the Kinsmen, the Ray Walter Memorial Fund was established at the time of her husband’s passing, and funds raised have led to donations for community betterment projects and to the North Perth Community Hospice!
