Catherine Morgado has always been exceptional, and putting the needs of others before her own; both with her family and at school. A 10-year-old student at Sunshine Montessori School in Kitchener. Every year she demonstrates exceptional academic aptitude and one of the first ones to help her fellow classmates along. She is a bright, strong, creative and full of energy.
For the last 4 years has demonstrated focused dedication to gymnastics, spending 5 days a week, training. She is always pushing herself, and setting new and ambitious goals every day. Catherine is always excited to make time to cheer on her bothers at every football game, rain or shine.
Catherine is always striving to learn and share with others. For the past 3 years she actively helps to organize an annual charity fundraiser by taking care of guest lists, food, prizes, and host of course. She has chosen a phenomenal charity “Mom2Mom Africa” to forward the charity proceeds.
Three years ago, among the many crafts she does, she had a passion for knitting. This year she has taken that passion coupled with her big heart, and decided to knit scarves and hats, which she sells to the community and through her facebook page, with all proceeds going to Mom2Mom Africa.
